I am a son, a husband, and a father. I see all three as a gift from God.

Each life is a story that searches to discover the true and best Story to place intself within.  The true and best story for our lives has already been written in the person and work of Jesus. The natural human response is to doubt the validity and value of his story, leaving us to search out the meaning and story of our life on our own. These pursuits leads to the spectrum of life’s desires. Sexuality, success, fame, and fortune are all examples of lesser stories that many seek for meaning and fulfillment. Our hearts, our stories, were never made or written to find their place in those things. Hope, love, meaning of life is only found in placing our story into Jesus Story. This means giving up our own attempts to lead and write our own stories. It also means believing that Jesus Story is true, is right, and is the only place our lives belong…in belief in His work in and through the cross and in submission to His leadership, His values, and His future plans.

These conversations are a means of searching and placing our life within His story.
