I have been “injured” with a strained calf muscle (gastrocnemius). I had some issues at mile 5.5 and didn’t want to get too injured to run. So, finally saw the doctor to get diagnosed and was released to run last week. Today I ran 9 miles (!) and felt great!

Kelly (a cedarcreeker) honked and waved this morning when I was running, too.

It has been a good day!

How is the One Thing in your life this week?

If you were not at the weekend services at CedarCreek, this post will not mean much for you at this time. Feel free to check out the message online at www.cedarcreek.tv called the One Thing.

Any beeping watch stories?

So, we were able to enjoy a nice little family vacation near Traverse City on Silver Lake. Though we were not right on the water like we had hoped - it was still very pleasant.  I was able to read, think, run, hang out with the beautiful women in my life which was wonderful. I read a couple cool books (more to come on those later).

For now, it is good to be back home…familliarity becomes a craving after a few days of someone elses place.

I am looking forward to our bed and clean sheets tonight.

What a cool deal! A bunch of people (some jr high students from camp) all baptized and declaring new life in Jesus. And the student ministry band playing their guts out - guiding us in singing to Him.

Dig it.

It is amazing how old these jr highers make this man feel. Whew.

My back still hurts from something I did…they did - who knows.

Right before I left my hard drive in my laptop fritzed - which means I am missing some valuable information. I am in the process of rebuilding my computer “life” and scolding myself for not backing up more often. The biggest stinger is my 69 page Thesis (not yet finalized) was on the hard drive. Doh!

I am praying that someone can go Jesus on this thing and bring it back from the dead…for less than a bunch of money.

…on with the story.
