How is the One Thing in your life this week?

If you were not at the weekend services at CedarCreek, this post will not mean much for you at this time. Feel free to check out the message online at www.cedarcreek.tv called the One Thing.

Any beeping watch stories?

  1. I am ashamed to say, that as I listened to you Saturday night, it became evident that there is more than just 1 thing that at times jumps in front of Jesus as my #

  2. 1 thing. I am anxious to get the CD from the Source, hopefully tonight, so I can listen several more times with pen and paper in hand.

Just want you to know, I thank God for you, and the way you allow Him to use you to minister to all of us…..

  3. Ben,

Awesome service on the 1 thing, very powerful! I also really liked the 60/60 idea when I heard it at the leadership summit. I am too cheap to go buy an watch with an alarm (and wouldn’t it look manly? ugh!), so I am going to start tomorrow by using the alarm on my cell phone. Wish me luck! I’ve been adding that extra something I noticed you added in the service to my prayers…to lead me to the 1 thing and to help me to know His will NO MATTER WHAT THE COST! That was kind of scary to pray, but I know God’s will for me and not my own will is what I need to discover. Deciphering my wishes and wills from His has been difficult at times for me. I’ve found the more I rely on Him, the easier it becomes. I sincerely believe that what a lot of individuals call gut instinct is truly the Lord talking to us. It hit me profoundly when I was at the summit. When our spidey senses are tingling….It’s Him! Ha, so thanks again for a moving and challenging service. Being challenged is one of the many reasons I love the Creek! Thanks,

    Heather

  4. Thanks Colleen.
Heather - good luck this week. Don’t forget to set it to auto repeat…so that even when you don’t get there to reset, it goes on.

  6. Both of our daughters came home from CC and said what a great job you did this past weekend - so I logged on and got to your first point on self indulgence and the video stopped…the prodigal story is also one of my favorites, so I guess I’ll have to buy the CD next weekend to hear the rest of the story!
