“from within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Light.
a lover of the light.
I close my eyes and dream of a moment that is on replay daily. The air is still, water softly hitting the shore. The sun warming me to my soul. Laying there I feel the earth speaking to me. Calmly whispering its greatness. I feel whole. The glow of the light wraps me up. It is calming. I am there with him. Sharing in this moment of completeness. Love. Peace. and Life. Beauty surrounds us. Light is taking us in. And in this moment, I am his, and he is mine. Together….
What is it about light that takes us in? What is it about light that brings us hope? What is it about light that tells us the earth and everything God has created is real?
Light is truth. Light is whole. Light is peace. Light is kind.
The light is all.
Light speaks to us in love. Light is our guide. And light surrounds us with a comfort that treats our souls with care.
It is the tiny glitters of life that radiates from the world. Each tiny piece of light loving and guiding us home. To our thoughts, our dreams, and ourselves. Safely returning us after we walk away into the dark. Bringing us back to our roots. Giving us the stability to regain what we may have lost. Allowing us to see again.
Give unto your love. And let light be your guide. Hold onto what you have. Trust in yourself. Go gather all the tiny glitters of light that will radiate from you. Letting beauty become the light that shines within your heart.
Leaving little pieces of light and love where ever you may tread…

Tomorrow on with.in…a photographers view on “light” by Tiffany.
Abbi -Wow V that first picture is absolutely breathtaking! Seriously I am stunned by it. I think this project and what you are doing is really amazing and I bet it will help so many people. <3 Mumford and Sons too
The glow that radiates inside her soul? The light that pours from her heart? Yes…now you see it, don’t you? I knew you would….everyone who knows her does. Everyone who is graced by her friendship and love sees the warmth of her amazing light. It’s always been there, ever present inside of her….it’s as sure as the rising of the sun. This is my mom, the most beautiful person alive I’m convinced. She has a shine within her that’s brighter than any light I’ve been touched by before. And she shares that light, she’s made loving other people the story of her life. She lends her light to one person and it’s shines onto another and another. It’s contagious, it’s plentiful, it’s healing.
When my flame inside has exhausted and my hope has grown dark, my mom is the spark. She is the spark that rekindles my faith, my spirit and my soul. And God knows I’ve needed her light to shine down on my path, showing me that even though the road can become blanketed by shadows, there will always be enough light for me to find my way. When it’s hard to see the dawn through the tears I’ve cried during the night, she comforts me until the sun rises, and it always rises. I am blessed by her beautiful, gracious faith in the belief of everlasting light.
It’s almost been a year since we heard the news. My moms body is sick.
She has cancer. An incurable cancer.
I hate cancer.
I hate that it found my mom.
I hate that it finds anyone.
So it found my family and here we are…fighting the darkness we call cancer. It’s tried to dim her light. And yes, on some days it’s been hard for her candle to stay lit while the hurricane wind blows around her. But most days it shines brighter than I’ve ever seen before. It’s almost as if she’s saved the most powerful illumination for her fight. I’ve tried to shine light back to you mom, I want you to know that I’ve tried. I hope that I have helped to light your way through your darker days. I know it’s been hard for me some days. I know some days you’re too busy helping me to stand…But I do hope I’ve helped you to stand as well, helped you to smile your beautiful smile. I know you have helped me to smile mine…
My mom is about to go through her second stem cell transplant in a few weeks. It’s a long, hard treatment…hair loss, immune system shut down, nueropathy, pain…Back in the boxing ring again…round 2…fists up…ready to battle. I want you to know you are not alone. I’ve got my gloves on too…we all do…by your side…swinging away, shining our light upon you. Ready to make it through another round of chemo, ready to defeat the darkness we call cancer.
I’m sorry you have to go through this. I’m so proud of how strong you’ve been and how hard you’ve fought and keep fighting everyday. I’m so grateful for how amazing you are to my girls…what a beautiful example you are to them. They love you deeply, they are blessed to see your light, to grow from it’s nourishing energy…I see your light shine in them too, I see it in their eyes and in their hearts..thank you for that gift to them. I know it will be with them forever and they will share it with their own babies someday. One of the greatest blessings of life.
Your light is radiant…it has never gone out, it never will…it has never gone unnoticed. It does not surprise me at the amount of people you’ve blessed with you just being you. With your kind smile, your gentle spirit, your giving nature. You are so brilliant. You shine brighter than anything I’ve known…shine on my beautiful light.
"Let your light shine. Shine within so you can shine on someone else. Let your light shine." Oprah Winfrey
“Once a day
Your voice is everything I need
And all the things you’ve done
Give me power to succeed
I felt so many times
But you pulled me through
But in time I find myself yeah
I hope you see that too
Cause when I feel scared
Sometimes I do
And when I feel scared
It seems that life is harder than I ever knew
Yeah when I feel scared
You are the only one
Who knows just what to say
So here am I to thank you
And hey there little girl
Wake up and see
And take your time to grow
Cause that is what you really need
And I cried so many times but
You pulled me through
And I know it sounds cliché yeah
But I can’t live without you
Cause when I feel scared
Sometimes I do
And when I feel scared
It seems that life is harder than I ever knew
Yeah when I feel scared
You are the only one
Who knows just what to say
So here am I to thank you
So here am I to thank you”

Jaime O. -Beautiful, even though there’s nothing beautiful about cancer. I would have described my mother in the exact, same way – she had the same effect on people. I’ll never forget the day I learned her cancer was incurable and that no matter how hard she fought, one day that SOB would take her. It finally did… two days before my first and only child was born. Cancer sucks. But it couldn’t take all of my mom because I see her every time I look in the mirror, and even though my daughter never met her, I see her in my daughter’s eyes and her smile. My best to you and your family and your mom. She’s beautiful! http://georgia365.blogspot.com/

1.The natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible.
“In the morning when I wake
And the sun is coming through,
Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness,
And you fill my head with you.
Can I take it to a morning
Where the fields are painted gold
And the trees are filled with memories
Of the feelings never told?
When the evening pulls the sun down,
And the day is almost through,
Oh, the whole world it is sleeping,
But my world is you.”
(The light is this video makes me breathless)
